If you don't know much about the stars of soccer, remember these three names: Messi, Ronaldo, and Neymar. Messi and Ronaldo are the best strikers in the world right now. Neymar is Brazil's up-and-coming star, and this is his first World Cup. Big things could happen!
4. US might be the Cinderella in this story - There's always one, and this might belong to America.
5. ALL the big nations have qualified - This rarely happens and gives us exciting games ahead.
6. Legacy - Brazil's legacy is the most recognized in the world due to their exceptional soccer skills. They currently hold the most World Cup championships, and will be playing for their sixth.
7. The fans - It goes without saying that the World Cup wouldn't be an epic event without it's devoted fan base. Even if you aren't a die-hard soccer fan, one game in Brazil and you will be converted. Being in Brazil for a soccer game is like watching an epic band play, even if you don't care about them, it will effect you in a positive light.
8. Safety - Brazil will be safer than you think. Over three-quarters of a billion dollars has been spent of security alone, so you can put your mind at ease.
9. It gives you another reason to learn another language - Having a chat with a local in Portuguese will be one of the most satisfying moments of your life!
10. Beach footvolley - Originating in Brazil, this is the classic game of volleyball, only omitting the use of your hands. Yes, only your head, chest, and feet can be used to hit the ball over the net. Seriously, one of the coolest sports I've ever seen! And Brazilians are some of the finest at this sport.

14. Comparatively Lower Prices - Besides the hefty prices for accommodations, Brazil's prices are a lot cheaper than the States. I'm sure that you'll find that a $2.50 beer will satisfy your thirst. :)
15. Churrasco - This is the Brazilian term for authentic barbecue. For you meat lovers out there, meat doesn't taste any better than this. Have you ever been to Fogo de Chao? Guess where it originated?
16. Gastronomy - Speaking of food, Brazil is a country filled with diverse and authentic restaurants.
17. Fruit, drink and coffee - Many delicious tropical fruits come from Brazil including the famous açaí berry, which can be found everywhere. Coconuts and caipirinhas (the national drink) will keep you hydrated and happy. As for coffee, a third of the world's coffee comes from Brazil and is known for it's distinctive flavor.
18. The Wonders - It's hard to narrow down all the beauties but the most well known are the Amazon, Pantanal, Foz do Iguaçu (Iguaçu Falls), and Christ the Redeemer statue.
